clannad doesnt really count as an eroge =P theres no porn to be found in it. but i do like those kinds of games. ive basically played all the ones translated into english. and i was kidden about the torrents thing xD thats how i get all my music/games to

Fair enough, suppose more politically correct term these days is visual novel (technically a subgroup of eroge). Guess you couldn't wait for official release huh ? You play translation of Utawarerumono ? I was pretty impressed with that game.

yes i liked utawarerumono. the whole strategy thing was a bit underdone but it was still fun. i didnt like though that there wasnt particular endings. you just happend to bang all the girls in one runthrough XD and yea a drug that makes you dream was good to. i really liked the music in it. but that neko chick looked a bit to much like a kid =P

I agree, they could of expanded so much on the story of uta, I would of loved a path for Kamyu...favorite character by far.

I just loved nekoko's ending...it was just so great. Aeka overall path was great till end, they sort of screwed it up.

lol right XD that rooftop scene was a bit messed up. again it was depressing. i think my favorite english localized game was snow sakura but my favorite fan translated game was one to the radient season. i also liked fate/stay night but man its so damn long i cant get myself to finish all the routes. i gotta tell ya this is a pretty strange subject to be talkin about with my mom XD

Snow Sakura was a solid good game overall but generally no character I liked that much at all. I never played fate/stay for same reason, I generally dislike all character in the game.

Favorite fan translation probably would be tsukihime.

Well anyone who actually knows me well enough, knows me great love for romantic stories which extends greatly towards VNs. Also another good one is Edelweiss, its down by newly formed company that licensed alot of big hitting eroge. They have Da Capo license just fyi.

No voice doesnt bother me, VN only been getting voice for the last 5 years or so. I been playing VNs sense Seasons of Sakura and True Love.

ah i generally dont bother with ones before 2000 except for a few exceptions. ONE and casual romance club to name a few

oh and how about the shuffle and kanon translations? ive been waitin for shuffle for forever. and kanon... again i dont like depressing stuff but i might get around to playing it.

Weren't both of those DoA ? Feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

well they say the shuffle translation is done but its on some guys computer and they cant contact him or somthing like that... but its been like that for like a year + so people are just keepin their fingers crossed. and kanon is still being worked on.

Checked Kanon's website and seems they keep updating but cant say same for shuffle. Most all Translation projects always die in editing phase, its far more difficult then translating phase.

Princess Waltz just came out a few days ago, looks like a pretty good game.

yup. waitin for a torrent to be up. but because of some security system peach princess started adding its harder to get a no cd crack for it. so just gotta wait. maybe a few days or weeks.

hey i used to =O the first 6 games i played i bought. then i figured out you could get them for free =P and realized i wasted about 200 bucks XD ever since then ive played like every other game off of torrents so ill stick with that thanks. by the way though. i also forgot to say that i tried that atlas + AGTH thing. where you pull the jap text straight from the game and atlas translates it? well it wasnt even worth the time of downloading. the sentences were so broken and the grammer was so bad that i could barely get any of the story out of the game i tried. so if ya havnt tried it dont bother, it aint worth it.

Yea, text hooker and atlas will do that. Also if you dont support these companies that localize VN then they will only bring over low budget ones or stop translating completely. Even buying 1/3 of VN you like is fine I think.
