Well doubt hikikomori is very complicated issue =p people just want to justify themselves afterall.

and no I never read NHK but as all anime, its not a actual portrayal of japanese society and I wouldnt take it all to series.

Also beat yukine's route, have to say it was best one so far. Really good ending.

There a difference between unhealthy attraction to young girl and being to lazy to leave your house. Its a self indulgence that leaves them destroying the small social skills they had in the beginning.

oooh? =P i dont think its that their lazy. i think it has more to do with their reaction to people, and more importantly crowds. it seems to be as much of a phobia as heights or (cough)... zombies... anyway i think that social withdrawal is a much more likely to be a disease than being gay or a pedophile.

Well here is the thing, most sociology diagnosis arent considered illnesses. For example if you go against norms of society your label is a "deviant" but that not a illness and no such treatment for such. Its this way because any cancerous entities in society is treated by society as a whole.

In simple its far more complicated then simple psychology. Social withdraw is caused from general social discomfort for many different reasons. Someone has some sort of trama, ostrazation, and more typically a general lack of social skills. The small few decide to besides slowly adapt to society they run from it. The general way to treat social withdraw is to drag them right back out. You force them to interact with society when they refuse to.

well... even though i dont quite get alot of what your saying... i dont think shovin someone whos afraid of others into a crowd of people and sayin "okay sink or swim" is all that much of a help. thats like getting someone whos scared of spiders and throwin a tarantula in their face. also "going against the norms of society" is to broad. id say that pedophilia is going against the norms of society and the person engaging in it is a deviant. so how would society cure that? it cant. if you cant follow the social standard you should be removed. you say its a disease and its not their fault but i cant help but think its an excuse like you think social withdrawal is. i think the cure is to find the nearest tree and string em up >=o

1. Its the practiced method of treating social withdrawn individuals. You pretty much drag them into society more or less. Pretty effective, its just they are almost never willing or they wouldnt be withdrawn in the first place.

2. Society has a way a treating people who go against norms to discourage such behavior which is called a sanction. The sanction for pedophilia is digust ostrozation and jail if they make action on their desires.

3. I am hardly go to argue is pedo/homosexuality a life style choice or a sickness, its a very very pointless argument =p

well I thinking saying the phrase in joking far worse then saying it seriously.

Well if said it serious I would just take from it that you want to hang given person doesnt mean you will actually do it. But saying it as a jest you are basically mocking all the thousends of people who were murdered through irrational hatred. Its like giving a blanket to a indian friend and saying "becareful...I might of placed at deadly disease that could kill your entire family ^.-" Its just being insensitive to the trama that people went through.

Told you its just drama. If you dont enjoy the drama in the game then you probably wont enjoy the game in general.

i dunno i enjoyed some of the game. i mean ryous route was cute and i enjoyed it. kyous route is awful and i dont want to play it >.> so all i have to do in the end is get past the bad stuff to get to the good stuff. one of these days...

lol its not a catch phrase =P its just something to add for emphasis on how awesome getting those cookies was. like brutal... and the patch worked great but it was only an alpha patch so it only translated about half of the game. now i have to wait for the rest to come out ;.;

yes the game is coming out tomorow... but lord knows when the torrent will be available =P plus i wont have much chance to play it. my brother and his daughter are coming from washington from Christmas day (tomorrow) to new years day. i cant play a porn game with that brat running around the house XD BUT!!! good news! i got my distortion pedal to work finally! no more of that hippie clean junk. now i can go into full on death metal mode >.< 3 cheers!
