sort a sad in a way, Either pedophilia being natural born attraction like homosexuality or a mental illness is rather up for debat but either way it something they cant really controll. They just lost to their baser instincts. Some definitely belong behind jail no doubt but a good chunk of people the show are hopeless saps that got conned by the actresses on the show. Sorta painful to watch.

You know legal age in many countries is 12 ? Even Japan. And here the kicker, legal age in Idaho is 14. Immorality is a all subjective, you could say the exact same thing for gay culture. Obviously they intended to break the law which is wrong but the show is baiting people who normally keep their urges under raps. Its like a show placing a plasma tv in purpose of eventually someone taking and when they do they drag them on tv asking them why they were stealing then call the cops.

Well generally that point of a debat, if we had same views it wouldnt even be a conversation. Also obvious they arent the same thing, one is legal and the other is illegal. My only point was that both are perceived as either a born attraction or a mental illness.

yea but if you cant control yourself, and have sex with a kid you should be in jail. and likewise if you just have an urge, but you give in to it and have sex with a kid, i still think you should be in jail. you say those people are coaxing them into a trap, but if the offenders werent already giving into the urge they wouldnt have initiated online the conversation to begin with. by the way i only like talking about this stuff because its fun having a smart conversation every once in a while =P

Well actually dateline initiates all the conversation and leads them into a perverted conversation.

Also a fact you might now know, about 20% of population have pedophilia. The number is drastically high but always been something really hard to strapulate. And for anime fans is so much higher, I would say 1/2

well i dont think lolicon and pedophilia are the same. as long as it doesnt involve any real kids then hey do what ya want im not here to judge. and the dateline dudes dont say anything beyond that they may be interested in sex. after that its the offenders that escalate the conversation.

Thats defintely not what I heard, They lurk in sex channels and who ever take the bait they lure in. But suppose its ultimately hearsay.

It really purely depends on your definition of pedophilia, for me it just a simple attraction to someone under legal consent. But ultimately lolicon if ever classified might be something seperate more close to 2D complex. But honestly its arguing between apples and oranges, either way there is a attraction to childen, it just happens to be anime children.
