Koi Kaze

just watched the 4th episode and man >.>; mom this is gross... i mean the sister is clearly seducing her brother. holding his hand/ asking if shes ever gonna be kissed... and then in this episode... the brother sniffs her underwear... as if thats not bad enough after that they have a scene of him masterbating! what the hell!

uwaaaah.... i got to episode 6 and i cant do it anymore. besides this show inching closer and closer to criminal, its just not interesting. all they do is fight, and make up, and fight, and make up, and masturbate, and fight, and make up ,and fight, and sniff underwear, and make up... its just... blah...

Well that just how dramas go, not for everyone afterall. Koi does take a bit of thick skin sense they present the story with actual reality. I find it refreshing from delusional romance that is rempent.

right? i dont care that its "real". i just care that the people in it are idiots besides. i want my romance to have ponies and rainbows and shit. screw real >=o reals boring!

Indeed that how most people feel.

For example PW's main pairing is incest, far more perverse then koi kaze could ever come up with. But because koi brings the real life consequences and drama into it, its suddenly alot more sinful.

well in PW's defense its only half incest. and also they are pretty much the same age. in koi its like the brother is wicked old and the sister is wicked young.

thats kind of th epoint, like ren said its meant to show the reality of the situation to broaden the story, the drama and etc, romance isnt all rainbows and ponies, like the saying goes "Love knows no boarders"

Well dont think anyone is trying to defend incest =p In koi its ment to be taboo, the whole point of the entire story is a taboo love. Reason you get such a negative reaction is because the series chooses to focus on negative side of it.

PW being opposite, they show zero qualms about being in love with their siblings and doesnt really cause you to think much of it.

lol right? you wouldnt notice in the least if they point it out. i mean i can see some similarities in koi. but there like opposite in PW one blond one black. whatever thats not the point. the point is that no matter how much trouble koi kaze can stir up i still think its boring

mmm buttered toast is gewd, also....dramas arnt all that bad although i dont prefer them all to much myself, everyone has their own unique taste

Its just story mechanics, plain and simple. Take Ai Yori Aoshi, its great romance but they are forced to put that drama near the end to make anime barrable. You need downs to appreciate the ups.

Drama dont have to be associated with sad events. Its just daily life, what everyone deals with. Its a story about peoples interpersonal relationships.

lol well i only watched a bit of that particular anime because you were right XD it is a bit to happy go lucky. whats the point in a romance anime where the main dude already has the chick in the bag?

Well any romance has to be paired with drama if its a romance/drama or a romance/comedy/drama. Sense as stated romance requires it to keep viewers attention.

But drama/romance is a different thing. Some people just dont like having to watch other people issues, which is understandable.
